Very simple injection that seems scary at first, but after once or twice is unbelievably easy. The pen has a needle so small it doesn’t even register to some people as having happened after the injection is complete. You remove the grey plastic cap, twist the handle to the unlocked position, press it lightly against your stomach or your thigh (fatty areas are better) and push the button with your thumb. The injection is spring loaded and subcutaneous. A drop on the surface of your skin afterwards, if present, is normal.
