Manufacturer’s Coupon

Changes were made to this savings card, available on Eli Lilly’s web page, on October 1, 2022. Previously, no questions were asked of patients who wanted to apply for this savings card about their prescription reasons. After 10/1/22, the question is asked if you have a prescription for Type 2 Diabetes. Eli Lilly offers a discount for patients who have a prescription for Mounjaro and commercial insurance. Even if commercial insurance denies coverage, the savings card will apply and patients can receive the medication for $25 per box of 4. The expiration date varies, depending on whether the patient’s health insurance provides prescription coverage or not (if they do NOT, then the card expires on 6/30/2023. If they DO, then the card is good thru 12/31/2023). Eli Lilly wants to see that patients applying for the card have a prescription for Type 2 Diabetes before they will honor the discount cards now. Go to the Mounjaro web site to read the Terms & Conditions and download and print the card: https://www.mounjaro.com/hcp/savings-resources

There were more changes made on 11/10/2022 having to do with the discount. Now, people whose insurance doesn’t cover Mounjaro only get a $500 discount. The changes with the discount cards are hard to keep on top of and change frequently.
